In October 2023, I traveled to Monterrey, Mexico, with the University of Ottawa’s Dean of Engineering and his team. The university's objective was to expand its international partnerships through academic, research, and student-led collaborations.
One of these initiatives included connecting with a student group at Tec de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico to help mentor and build their hackathon community. We focused on engagement, product design, growth, and logistics. Despite being 1,928 miles apart for most of the time we worked together, I had the opportunity to meet them in person in October!
